RGDATA raises need for leadership and collaboration to drive town regeneration and day and night economy

RGDATA Director General Tara Buckley participated in a Workshop on Activating the Night Time Economy attended by Catherine Martin, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media and Malcom Noonan, Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage. The workshop heard from Jo Cox-Brown (Founding Director of Night Time Economy Solutions and Expert on the UK High Streets TaskForce) and a number of break-out groups followed. Participants discussed key issues relating to Town Regeneration and the Night Time Economy and made contributions on the initiatives required. The Department will develop an action plan following the meeting.
