An Bord Pleanála refused permission on 3 November, 2011, for a single level Tesco Foodstore of 1,534 sqm gross at Newline, Manorhamilton, County Leitrim, as the proposed five-arm roundabout junction would not adequately provide for the safety of road users.
Co Donegal
An Bord Pleanála refused permission on 10 November, 2011, to Tesco Ireland for a Foodstore of 4,309 sqm gross with provision for 256 car spaces, at Donegal Road, Ballybofey, Co Donegal. The reasons given are it’s out of centre location distanced from the commercial core of the Town, would detract from the vitality and vibrancy of the Town Centre and the site adjoins significant areas of undeveloped lands.
