Co Clare, Miltown Malbay :An Bord Pleanála granted permission for a licensed Supermarket and all weather pitches at Leagrad North, Miltown Malbay, Co Clare on June 1. RGDATA had observed on an appeal to An Bord Pleanala made by Sean Lucy and Associates.
Co Louth, Ardee: On 7 June Louth County Council refused an application for outline permission to Tesco for a Foodstore and vehicular access at Drogheda Road, Ardee, Co Louth. The Council cited material contravention of the zoning objective, increased traffic, the proposed development would depreciate the value of properties in the vicinity and failure to submit details of a quantitative site specific risk assessment as it’s reasons for refusal.
Dublin: Dublin City Council has refused permission for Tesco to sell alcohol in its supermarket planned for the The Complex Theatre site in Smithfield in Dublin city centre following local objections.
